setting Different settings for the different people shows representation of the person and their addiction.
themes- addictions to media outlets
icons- computers, mobile phones, laptops, games console, internet and media outlets.
narrative- each teen has a different type of media addiction which affects their lives in different ways putting them at risk, making them loose out on life opportunities but also providing an outlet for expressing themselves.
characters- Ryan and ben 15 porn addicts, page 15 addicted social media and her phone- her addiction put her in an unsafe position with males because they stole her phone , Tobin addicted to video games kicked out of Oxford missed his opportunity because he didn't revise as much as he should have spend alternative time on games console , tom 15 came out on twitter and replaced real relationships with online relationship although his relationship seemed safe could potential cause a dangerous situation, social media made an easy outlet for him to express his true sexuality and made it easier to tell his parents and meet other people who share his sexuality. Each character very young had different experiences with media many resulted poor life choices or put them in danger in some way, were some positive effects of media such as outlets to express themselves- easier to be truthful behind a screen than in person.
